Holidays = burn a hole in ur pocket

The title of my post is SO SO true. Well at least for me. One day trip to Malacca and I spend like close to RM 200, mostly spend on shopping for foodstuff *lolz* Yea, I can be a shopaholic at times. Some of you might be sniggering now and saying "RM 200 nia, what's the big deal"?? FYI, I'm unemployed/jobless/penganggur till today, so if I keep spending money like that, in no time I might end up a pokai (>.<)

But shopping in Malacca can be very interesting. I haven't been to Malacca for ages, so I decided to join my college pals for this 1 day trip. The main purpose of our trip was to savour the "famous dishes" in Malacca, e.g the chicken rice (their rice comes in the form of ping pong ball shaped rice, the size slightly bigger lerr) and their local products. Personally, I find the food I ate yesterday tasteless. Klang has food outlets that offer dishes way better than what I ate in Malacca. Or perhaps I just haven't found the best-of-the-best food in Malacca yet.

One thing I will want to go back to Malacca again for has to be Jonker Walk. It's a bargain hunter's haven. You can find tons of stuff there at reasonable prices (and when I said it's reasonable, I mean it!) My eyes were blinded by the bargains I saw stall after stall. And the delicious dim sum stall which sold a variety of mouth watering dim sum almost tempted me to fatten myself after a day of non-stop-eating (@_@) I'm definitely going back to Malacca again for Jonker Walk, not for the food, although I do really wanna try the satay celup next time.

Oh, by the way, the Malacca Butterfly Park is still a good place to visit in Malacca, although the park management should have tried better in upgrading the place ESPECIALLY the toilet (it's so ughh......*vomits*) The Mini Malaysia Park should have take after the Sarawak Cultural Village instead of trying to attract visitors with empty houses. The model houses looks too creepy even for us to step in and take a look. To me, it's just a really pathetic sight. ........

just another day..... posted at 1:42 PM.
