Time

Time is precious. Yeap, I have been told that many times. But then, I tend to do everything at the very last minute. I feel like crying when I see the pile of unfinished work. What am I going to do when I enter university then? Better start changing my habits liao. It bothers me a lot not having the proper resources to do my assignments. Just my luck I guess. I hope things will be much better in March although deadlines and tests are coming real soon. And I mean REALLY soon!!!!!! HELP, is the word I want to scream out loud while imagining that I am at a beach where there is nobody but me. Time to do my assignment first. Will write more next time~

Tat phone call.............

Today life is as boring as usual. But life ain't going to be boring for me in the next few week sto come. Assignment due dates are basically appealing to me that I quickly finish all my assignments, internal test dates are also round the corner. So what am I currently doing? Downloading the latest Korean drama, surfing online for assignment materials and chatting with a friend. That is how Debbie handles her life.

Just now there was this weird phone call on my handphone. *ring ring ring* 'Hello.' I said. 'Hello, Samy ada ka?' that Indian guy over there asked. Man, I was so frustrated that I merely said "Salah nombor" and cut off the line. Kinda stupid larr. Not the first time I've received calls like this. I remembered a Malay lady even called once also. Some people even call my house to enquire whether it is a kilang (factory) Hahhaahahah, life is really weird~

Whewww~

Wheeewww~ What a day!!! Finally the CNY gathering in college is successfully over. How was it?? Great!!! Despite the small number of people filling up the seats in the hall, I was happy that my friends and I managed to organized a good party. I had to stay up until 12am last nite to make the CNY decorations for the hall. And my efforts did paid off. In 1 1/2 hour, we managed to decorated the hall with cards and angpaus.

The food at first glance was insufficient. But in the end we end up with a lot of leftovers. We even had time to pose for various photos with our gang!! (@_@) The best part was a new student in the college got the 1st prize in the lucky draw. How lucky sia!!!! Elections were as usual, kinda lame and ridiculous based on the facts that people were voting for 'FUN" and not based on students capability. All in all, I'm really tired and glad that everything is finally over. And the last breaking news, I am re-elected the president of the Students Club for Year 2005. The path to my future seems very dark now with many obstacles on the way. Ganbatte kudasai~ (-__-)"

Charles!!!!!!!!!

Charles Tan, the son of Jim and Queenie Tan is basically the CUTEST baby so far!!! Just now they were at church and I was so thrilled to see him. Only 5 months old, but so huge liao. And he has this smiley face on him all the time. Wah, so happy to see and play with him larr. Kawaii desu ne!!!!! Aiksss, it's been a busy week for me lerr. The upcoming college gathering, our preparations only 30% ready. Die larr!!!! Just put up the promotional posters today a college. Very sad lerr, seeing my 'childish' piece of artwork. Just don't know why I can't create a more mature piece (-___-)" Darn, maybe it's because I do a lot of artwork for the Sunday School class then~

Luckily had Chng Leng to help me with the main promotional posters. Now I got more doubts. What if the number of people who turn up for the party are much lesser than expected? You know how frustrating is it thinking that at least 30 people will come when only 20 might attend just to give you face? Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (T_T) Yeap, that's the way it goes in my college. Luckily I always have a backup supporting team. My beloved gang, Jocelyn, Sook Kuan, Jessie, Levin, Seow Huet and last but not least the quietest contributor Henry. Oklarr, we function so well as a study team, as a holiday team, as the noisiest team and etc. I thank God they are here to help me with the preparations of the party. If not, I'll be nowhere by now. Then this week bombarded with all the assignment questions liao!!! Die die lor!!!! Must be more hardworking now!!! Sianzzz........... Just had a 1/2 hour chat over the phone with Li Let. Wah, she sounded so tired leh. Yea, I'm basically the LUCKIEST girl on earth. i have no stress at all but them, haha. Too much stress. So life for me not very challenging now~ That is just my luck then~

Reflections~

CNY came and go just like the other years. This year was different. I had to endure a 7 hour car ride to Alor Star, which was somewhat 300++ km away from where I stay. But it was worth it, once we enter my aunt's house, I received my 1st angbao without even stepping into the house yet. Then I saw the latest addition to the family, Rou Yi, a 3 month baby girl who's a darling when she doesn't cry. Ivan and Bryan are so much taller now. Haha, then went for late lunch. It was Malay rice again. No bad arr, tastes so good!! What are we Chinese eating for CNY nowadays arr? I guess we just diversified!!

Practically, CNY was ok. Not too boring coz I spent the whole time playing with Ivan and the other new babies around. Ivan was super cute, he did really funny things that left us laughing for good. Today went CNY visitation with the youths for the first time. Went to so many houses until so SLEEPY!!! But it was worth while. Quite fun leh to hang around, eat and drink, and take angbaos of course!!! Hahaha~ Then just now went to Ching Leng's house. Heard her experiences of Japan, and I just found out Japanese are not that smart after all. My friend said in 5 years, our education level will be higher than them (@_@)'' Can you believe it??? Looks like I will look to Singapore if I want a super challenging study life now. And I thought the Japanese were super good!!!! Anyway, the best part is my picture appeared in a Japanese newspaper!!!! Yeap, my friend wrote a short article and submitted it to a newspaper there and they publish her pix with me and 2 other friends. The stupid part is that was the most horrible picture of me!!! (x_x)'' So I cannot impress the Japanese people after all lorr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xin Nian lai le!!!!!

*Ka Boom, booom, BOOM, BOOMMMM,* The sound of the ear spiltting fire crackers are everywhere, especially in my housing area. It's like a competition between them, to see who can put the most beautiful and loudest fire crackers. (^o^)v Yea, lately the morning market near my house has been selling a lot of fire crackers, they come in different sizes and hazard level, 'super harmless', 'big and loud' and also 'EXPLOSIVE and DANGEROUS if handled without care'.

So today is Chinese New Year eve. Just came back from my aunty's place for dinner. Now people are playing fire crackers like mad. And my house is so bright because dad switch on 80% of the house lights. And finalyl, I get to see my darling IXUS for the first time. He was such a sleek and beautiful new 'bao bei' of mine. Yeap, mum was so lucky to have won him during a lucky draw. Mum didn't even know she won IXUS until my cousin brother-in-law informed her. So God finally blessed us with IXUS so we didn't have to get Olympus or Sony instead. Aiya, I think I'm really moving on with my age. As I grow older don't feel the 'kick' of ushering Chinese New Year anymore. The best part about CNY is getting angpau's, seeing my nieces and nephew and playing with them. Haha, hopefully this will be a prosperous and bountiful eyar for me. Ok, time to cut the crap short. Gong Xi Fa Cai, hong bao duo duo LAI!!!!

Madness!

Wah, it's been quite a while since I last blog. Anyways, last few days have been pretty routine, classes everyday. Except for the fact I'm doing 2X more cleanign than usual. The cleaning never seems to END!!! Clean this spot, few days later dusty again. *groans* This is BAD~ And my room is in a super mess!!! Aiya, oklar, I admit I'm not a very organized person (-__-)" Yea, you guys know it's a few days to CNY. And the malls are expecially JAM PACKED with humans, especially Chinese. Everywhere you see theres someone. Makes it so hard to breathe at times.

Chinese are well known to be superstitious. Just that day, I've been reading a section in the newspaper and the feng shui master said the ROOSTER year ain't auspicious. So she suggested that you put 88 grains of rice in a red packet to improve your luck???!!! Wah, I was so tempted to try. Although I don't believe stuff like this, sometimes you just feel like doing it larr. Yea, being stupid is kinda fun you know!!! Anywayz, will go to Bukit Bintang tomorrow. Hopefully *cross my fingers* I'll get to buy something nice for this coming CNY!!!!
