Happenings throughout the week!

*gasps* *faints* gosh, I haven't been blogging for the past week including this week. So that makes it 2 weeks of non-blogging. Perhaps I am just being plain lazy. You bet I am. I have all the time to catch up on my Korean dramas and not blogging. *sigh* (-____-)" Anyways, here is the summary of my personal experiences throughout these 2 weeks.........

1. During a super rush-hour morning train ride, I realised some Malaysians can be really rude. So far I only met one during all my train rides so far. As usual, travelling by train during 8am++ can be really torturing. Loads of people are rushing to get to their workplace. This particular lady, not to mention that she is a XL size lady, came pushing her way through the entrance of the train saying LOUDLY "EXCUSE ME, PLEASE GIVE WAY." My first impression was she was perhaps handicapped, coz not many normal people will say that kind of thing when boarding the train. And when she came pushign passed me, I realised she was perfectly healthy, maybe on the overweight side. She pushed her way although there wasn't much space. So you see, she made all of us squeeze against each other even more. The best part is, she even told off a lady who was telling her not to push her way through. Dear me, that is one really "bo pai seh" lady.

2. I got my first chance to enter TV3 station on Monday!!! Oklar, I was there to collect my prize. Won it in some competition. So there I was walking towards the 8tv office. When I reached the 3rd florr, I didn't know where to go so I stood outside the lift. Suddenly, Fabian and Rina of the 8tv Quickie walked past me. I was just too nervous to even remeber their names. Luckily it wasn't Adam or Marion. I might stalked them and ask for autographs *duh, lame isn't it* I was even more suprised when I realised Fly FM office was just beside 8tv's office.

3. I realised I am allergic to prawns *crying out loudly* Yea, I knew I had allergies about a month ago but not sure which one was it. So I tried eating a few tiny-miny prawns, alrite, medium-size prawns to see whether my body will react to it. You see, my employer dished out a magnificent, tasty, yummy, delicious prawn noodles on Saturday. So of course I have to eat right, it's not that I get to eat her cooking all the time. What's a prawn noodle if I only ate the noodles, vegetables, and meat if there is no prawn to go with right???? So you guessed it, the next day the red dots came invading my body once again. (>.<)

4. While I was driving home along the Federal highway yesterday, I got caught in a traffic jam. When I was about to move ahead, I saw a kitten running past the traffic from the left side of the lane. It was sort of jumping (or limping, I just don't know how to describe its actions). I guessed the car in front of me must have ran over it. Suprisingly it was still moving. The worst part is it came directly into my way and I immediately stop my car. I tried to avoid the kitten by swerving my car to the right because I guess the cat must be under my car at that point. Cars behind me started honking. I quickly drove ahead and looked into my mirror. I can see that the kitten was no longer moving. No, I swear I didn't run over the kitten. The kitten must have been suffering internal injuries. A good samaritan on the lane beside mine, in a Volvo mind you, stopped his car, turned on the hazard lights, and picked up the poor kitten. Luckily, the car behind me stopped to let the guy in Volvo save the kitten. I salut you!!!!!

5. If you feel like you need a dose of the latest mando-pop, try getting Sun Yan Zi's latest album. The songs inside are pretty good. Happy Halloween people~

The train ride

If I were given a chance to invent the train, I would invent a train that has its own mind. Why would I want to invent such a train??? This is because a smart train will know who they can permit into the coach, and who they can bar from entering it. Most of us travel by train to school. I wasn't part of the crowd at first, but I have no choice but to be part of the crowd since I started studying in KL. Travelling with train daily was fun at first, but not until last Friday when I decided it could be a torture at times.

I love Fridays because that would mean I will have 4 days break from school. I boarded the train happily thinking how I would spend the rest of the day after class. 4 stops later, a few people came in. There was this particular guy, who was huge in size. He was a normal guys, except that the air around him had a stench. It was a misture of 'body odour + sweat' *gross*. The minute he stepped into the train, the air around him started to smell like him. I was just standing 40-50 cm away from him and I felt as thoguh I was standing right next to him. The smell started to fill my brains and I felt that I could purge anytime. I started to find any gaps on the train door that can let me breathe some air from outside. By far, this was the most torturing train ride to school.

My luck can't be that bad, but it was. On the way back, I was standing right next to a guy who stank. Not that I wanted to, he came and stand right beside me. That is why I decided trains in the future should have amind of its own. If a passenger were to smell really bad, the train might as well just say "Passenger with the white collar t-shirt, please gety off the train. You are stinking my body" or the train might signal a siren warning people there is a foul smelling person on board. Then it may emit some air freshener or etc to neutralise the odour. So much for my imagination.

I am getting weirder.......................... (O.0)

Goodbye old faithful~

Dear Wira,

You have always been our 'Wira' for these past 11 years. You have serve us faithfully throughout all these years and we really appreciate that. I remember those times when I was still in primary school and I will always be on a lookout for that blue Wira who will come and pick me up. I cannot imagine how our lives would be without you at our service.

After 11 years, my parents agree that they need a new car. So Wira, it is sad to say but you will have to leave us. At 11 years old, travelling far distance with you always seem to trouble my dad because he is afraid you might breakdown anytime. But then, we know that we have taken care of you well and hope you will get a better master in the future. I am sorry that I did not have a chance to say my last goodbye, but dear Wira, we will never forget you. Goodbye Wira~

The Flood~

Okay, I usually don't blog on Saturdays or Sunday. Reason? Well, my brother would definitely be hogging the computer on these 2 nights and usually after work, I'll be freaking tired to even go online. Not today, my friends. Today is a different day. Somehow I came back seeing the computer all alone, which is a rather rare sight on a Saturday night. Indeed, my brother must be under the 'study for your SPM' spell that were cast by both my parents. lolx.....

Now, the reason why I'm blogging on this beautiful Saturday night is not to talk about my brother. It's about what happened in work today. I thought it would be any typical Saturday. Morning, everything was fine. Found out there was a new colleague at the salon who was the oldest among us, in her mid-40's (yeapz, rather old to be a salon girl). Afternoon was ok, except for the confusion that occurs once in a while when I have to do 10 things simultaneously (-___-)" Then, at around 6 pm ++, something happened. Just before that, I had finished making my special tuna sandwich for my colleagues to eat. I left it right on the table.

Guess what happened then??? 2 minutes after I stepped out of the kitchen, my salon flooded itself. Yeapz, water was coming out of the kitchen. I freaked out and went to my 'brother-in-law' for help. Then I realised the water tank in the kitchen overflowed!!!!!!! Yikesssssss, my sandwich is drenched wet. 2 minutes ago it was hot and fluffy, now it's dead cold and wet!!! (O.0) I quickly went and rescue the sandwich from further damage. Then, my boss instructed me to quickly wipe the area. How do you dry a 4x3 meter area?????? Easy, use towel to absorb the water, and squeeze all the water out in the sink. So I felt like I was transported back to the past, where the Japanese clean their floor using cloth. I was on all fours when cleaning the area.

It was one of the most tiring experiences I had in the salon. I wish there will be no more 'deja vu' tomorrow. Spending 30 minutes on all fours trying to dry up the area isn't my dream job, ya know!

The train ride

Since studying in KL, I had no choice but to commute from Taman Jaya till Ampang Park (which lasts about 30 minutes). The LRT reminds me of the time I was commuting in Singapore with the MRT, and this brings back all the fond memories of me in Singapore last year. I'm gonna make sure I make it back there this year end (^o^)

Train rides are usually boring, but things did happen this week. It was on a Thursday morning, where I finally got myself a seat few stations before my destination. Then, this couple came in from one of the stations and stood beside my seat. I could not care less at first but then I was sititng next to a pole and this lady just hold on to the pole at my eye level. So enuff said, my vision was blocked by her hand (feeling pissed already). To make matters worst, I saw this hand that seems to belong to a man wiggle out of no where and safely position itself on her waist. Then only I realised her bf was being 'touchy touchy' at that point. To top up with that, the smell of the lady's perfume almost choked me to death. Why does she and her kind love to put on heavy smelling perfume to choke 'ordinary smelling' civillians like us??? Don't they get that it stinks more then it is supposed to smell nice on them???? A few minutes passed, and finally the couple decided to get off 1 station before mine. (-___-)"

On this particular day itself, I was complaining to my friend about a new pair of shoes that I just bought. It wasn't that comfortable and my feet aches when I walked too fast. We then later had this conversation.

J : Debbie arr, you know you should have bite your shoes first before wearing them, so that it can fit easily.
Debbie: WHAT??? You siao meh! Who on earth bites their shoe even though it's new??? What does it have to do with making my feet more comfortable???
J : Well, thats our Chinese people pantang marr. Mr A also does that marr.
Debbie: Mr A also does that???? (Debbie's head started to spin when thinking about Mr A biting his shoes)

Chinese pantang are kinda annoying at times. Especially the pantangs about babies. Supposedly, if you follow the pantang, you are NOT ALLOWED to:

i) praise the baby in front of her
ii) talk about how big the baby is in front of her
iii) pinch the baby's cheek
iv) making comments about the baby
v) whatever fits here. I just know the above.

I am so GLAD to be a Christian!!!!!!

To people who love Korean dramas, make sure you watch Spring Days!!!! I love the drama a lot!!! Cheers~
