Crazy week (@_@)

Let me recap the events of last week....

Monday:

Had to go to school as usual (-_-)" Then during class, SK suggested we had dinner together to celebrate Henry's 22nd Birthday. So yea we did, we went for some expensive steamboat in Bukit Tinggi. I brought Ann over there to join all of us as well. And I thought I would be spending my Monday night slacking on my couch while watching my favourite show C.S.I *lolz*

Tuesday:

Tuesday became my day out with Ee Lin. We went over to Sungei Wang to shop. It was a great day we had coz both of us took neo prints, which came out awesome. Some guy even interviewed us to conduct a survey on handphones, so guys, don't be suprised if one fine day you see my face appearing in some Chinese magazine Xp After shopping in Sungei Wang, we head over to Times Square. They have an awesome food court at the 10th floor, so guy do go and try it out eh (^^) Later at night, attended the YCF at Daniel's place. We had a big group there, which was encouraging. Then we adjourn for mamak later at Eng Ann, which happens to be Yee Ann's last mamak outing *lolz*

Wednesday:

Morning class is definitely a killer. I am seriously getting frustrated with all the travelling. Some idiot taxi driver even carelessly scratch his side view mirror against mine, which made me really agitated. Better still, he saw me in my car yet no apologies from him, he just drove off like nothing ever happened. *arghh* *losing my mind* Later in the afternoon, I drove Ee Lin to 1 Utama for our last round of shopping. 1 U is so huge sia, walk till leg also so very pain (>.<) We had a good dinner at Nippon Yataimura Restaurant, it's really one nice restaurant. Food's good, service also boleh tahan lerr......

Thursday:

This happened to be the day our college gang had BBQ together in Ann's house in the evening. For me, it was definitely too much. This was my 3rd BBQ in 1 month. That's an overdosed of charcoal-cooked food. But this time the food was good, like the youths BBQ in Ching Li's house, and we even had lamb (which I passed off since I was too FULL) Henry became our chef, BBQing chicken wing and other stuff for us. It was definitely an awesome time we had there, even thought we burned a small portion of Ann's grass since the pit was on top of the grass. Pai seh arr Mr and Mrs Lim (>.<)

Friday:

Had to wake up at 5.30 am. Reuben fetch me and Jodie and off we went to the airport, to send off our dear Hao Shen. Reached the airport around 7.30 am. We met the whole Cheah family there, and Uncle Cheah even belanja us breakfast in Burger King. When it was time to say goodbye, some of us were nearly at tears upon seeing Hao Shen bidding his family and us goodbye, so touching sia. ='( We trailed him from the top floor till the aero train. Then, it's tata till we meet again.

In the afternoon, went to Ee Lin's house to talk with her before I said my last goodbye. I might not even see her again (T_T) At night, I had dinner with Ann's family in Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant. It was an awesome dinner we had, ate till feel so bloated sia. First time I ate such nice food, rom a super wide variety. But it was definitely a bit expensive lerr, considering I eat much lesser than what it cost (RM 50 ++ per head leh) Suprisingly, there were tons of people in the restaurants, which shows that Malaysian's really can eat lorr, especially Chinese *lolz*

-Hao Shen and Yee Ann, take good care of yourself eh-

By the way, I just received this shocking news yesterday. My final exams had been brought earlier by 3 weeks. Pros: I get to graduate earlier. Cons: I do not have enough time to study. Conclusion: I am so DEAD. Pray for me yea, that I may get good grades this term. I can't afford to do badly, I need to enter Uni next year (T_T) jiu ming a!!!!

Workaholic. Me???

My boss is one lady with a BIG ambition. I seriously envy her. I mean without even completing secondary school, she has managed to own 3 shops currently, 2 hair salon and a brand new restaurant right beside the salon I am currently working at. The fact that she is able to open a restaurant in just 1 year after opening her Bukit Tinggi salon never fails to make me fascinated, or should I say AMAZED by her ability to do so. Without any professional background in the restaurant business, she's managed to open one so far, and from the looks of it, it'll do well..... (^o^)

So what does this have to do with me? Of course it does. So now I have 2 jobs, after salon hours, I sort of help out in the restaurant. Taking orders is A BIG PROBLEM, coz I can't read Mandarin (not very good, just basic words. Luckily the menu has English words on it) and I have to write down the orders in Mandarin makes it twice as hard!!! (@_@) I also get to learn how to serve and clean up tables, man, it can be tedious at times. But the best part of working in the restaurant is that I get to sample the food they serve, which is DELICIOUS. Kudos to the chef =)

Although this means I may be exhausted at the end of the day, well, I'd say it's an experience. I might not be compensated accordingly to the job I do, but then, I guess money ain't everything. Working ain't just about the money, it's about loving the job and making the best out of it. Let's see how well I can cope with my restaurant job Xp

By the way, farewell BBQ is this Saturday. I do hope it'll turn out well. It's time for fiesta~
