Loreal Colour Trophy vs Cockroachies

Friday was an awesome day!!!! First and foremost, I skipped FM class (okay, I didn't really want to, but I have valid reasons) There was an event called 'Loreal Colour Trophy Awards' and I was there to attend due to the fact that I can drive others there as well to attend (-__-)" But I never knew it would turn out to be such a great event~ I was at the salon around 3pm ++, and we only left around 6.30pm!!!!!! The event was supposed to kick-start at 6pm!!!!! (yea, we missed the FOOD~ the whole cocktail party!!!! what a waste.......) The journey to Kl wasn't that smooth at all, it was raining like 'cats and dogs' in Klang and in KL, it was the usual problem, TRAFFIC JAM!!!!! As if I was not frustrated enough, the parking lot in the hotel was full and I had to parked somewhere else (mean to say walk further *duh*)

It was obviously a hairdresser's affair, since once I reached the ballroom, it was full of people with either weird dressing or weird hairstyles or a combination of both. YES, this is definitely a hairdresser's get-together. Wah hey, this is my first time participating in this kind of event. Kinda cool though~ A few minutes after we reached, we were all ushered into the ballroom for the awards giving ceremony. In between the awards, there were hair shows by Xu Kai, a mainland China hair stylist. Wah, he really got his own style. Long jet black hair tied up into a bun, what can you say of this guy? Truly a unique hair stylist~ Overall, it was an eye-opening event. Full of creativity and imagination run wild thingy (O.o) But, that's what hair-dressing is all about I guess.

Today (25/02/2006) was another usual day at the salon. Difference is I never go home last night and slept over at Li Hong jie's place. Then from her place left straight to salon with her. It was supposed to be just another day in the salon, except for the fact our customers made us work like mad when all of them just turn up between 4-6pm. Not even enough seats to get them seated (>.<) The worst part of the day had to be when Ai Ney jie decided to clean up the kitchen/store room. She made a shocking discovery, we were actually breeding cockroaches in the kitchen. They actually survive in those boxes where we put our chemicals and etc *%$$%$%$ The moment she move those boxes, the scene was like from 'The Mummy'. Cockroaches, big and small, came running everywhere, trying to find cover from us, the TERMINATORS (@_@)"

The 3 of us, Ai Ney, Ah Lun and me, are the only ones brave enough to terminate those horrible creatures, by either stepping on it without mercy or spraying mosquito spray at it!!! Eewwww, the hairs on my hands practically stood up at the sight of all those cockroaches running around and me trying to step on as many as I can!!!! Yikes, this isn't a great way to end your workday (>.<) Anyways, we managed to clean up and I would like to proudly declare that my salon's kitchen is pretty CLEAN and cockroach free as of today!!!! *victory*
