My stupidity

As I age, sometimes I feel like I'm the getting more foolish. I dunno why. Just can't seem to think right at times. For example, yesterday after work, went out for lunch with my god-sister and family. I forgot for a moment that they were Buddhist, so I ordered a meal of 'black pepper beef rice'. Then both my god sister and her husband stared and me and took turns to ask me "huh, you eat beef one arr?'. I was like "erm, yea, I eat anything". Then, her husband said in a sarcastic way "oh, she's a Christian marr, so she eats anything one marr". Then it hit me. They don't eat beef (-___-)" I was like feeling so stupid! How can I order something to eat against their religion??? But even if I requeste to change, my god sister would say it's alright and insist that I eat what I wanted to. Yea, she's the best god-sister I'd ever had. It's just a pity that she's a Buddhist, a rather staunch one indeed. Coz everytime I go work, the first song to be aired in the salon has to be a monk chanting song (>.<)

Then the other day, I went to get my beads bracelet string to be changed as it was rather loose. The gal dropped the beads accidentally and the beads ran in all directions. I was stunned for a moment as it was one of my favourite accessory. The gal then offered to pay me how much the bracelet cost but how on earth can I remember the price of somethign I had purchased 5/6 years ago? Then she offered to give me a moonstone bracelet to replace my beads bracelet. I knew my bracelet does not worth as much as hers so I offered to pay for the bracelet for a reduced sum instead. So I ended up parting with RM 20 when I could have got it for free. Yeapz, my friend ridiculed me like mad. Said I should have screwed her and bla bla bla for making me lose such a prized bracelet which has a sentimental value. Thinking back, I should have just taken it without offering to pay her. But then, I don't feel right myself if I had done so. Haha, so yea, that's another story of my stupidity.

Next story happened in my workplace. It was my first encounter with the credit card machine. I was suprised at how easy it was to operate the machine. So I printed out the slip and let the customer sign it. Then, I let the customer take the signed copy back together with her credit card. Have u sense something amissed? Bingo, you hit the jackpot. Being the msot stupid person on earth, I gave the customer the signed copy and kept the unsigned one instead (>.<)" And the slip was for a RM 1500 payment. I was speechless. I confessed my actions to a senior, which in turn told my god sister. She was good enough not to shout at me, and advice me rather nicely instead. I never felt so stupid in my life after that incident. Then I flashback to the times when my mum went to the supermarket and used the credit card to make payments. So that's how it works. Haha.....

That's enough for now. I don't wanna let you guys know everything, just in case you use it back on me Xp

just another day..... posted at 10:30 AM.
