A wedding and a graduation. Sweet~

Last week had been indeed a busy week, I had 2 important functions to attend to, Yen Ling's wedding and also my graduation. Yea, you heared it honey, it's my graduation. Let me start off with Yen Ling's big day story first.

Date: 10/11/2006

Until Thursday, I wasn't sure whether I could make it for her wedding in the morning, but due to God's grace, and SK's direction, I was able to find my way to Yen Ling's house even though it was located in SS2, somewhere that I have never set my foot on, or I just don't remember being there. One thing is for sure, it was my first time driving to an unfamiliar place and finding her house without getting LOST!!! Hurrah for Debbie (^^) When I arrived at 8a.m, she was in the midst of being dolled up for her big day. I was definitely glad to be by her side, as later we had a round of game with Chien Wei when his entourage arrived. Chien Wei drove a really cool sports car, it was so cute!! Too bad I don't have a picture of the car (><)

After the tea ceremony in Yen Ling's house, we head over to Chien Wei's house in Bandar Utama for the tea ceremony at his place. He definitely has a big house, and the couple's room is huge as well. Once there, I had nothing much to do, so I was busy chatting with John and Chien Wei's friends. Fast forward to dinner time, I had to take the train up to Subang and meet Reuben there. Imagine me, having my hair set nicely and wearing a nice dress, taking the train, was quite ok except for the stares from the passerbys (so awkward sia!!!) Wedding dinner was at a huge restaurant, food was ok.

To Chien Wei and Yen Ling, may your marriage last forever and may you both love each other till the end of time~ Yen Ling jie, wish someday I would find my own prince charming since you've already found yours =)

Finally my big day arrive. I was rather pissed off and moody during the morning coz I was not well informed of the graduation ceremony. Despite being just in time for the certificate giving ceremony, I wish I had been to Times Square earlier for the rehearsals. Imagine me, walking to the hall when everyone is well-seated and ready to go up the stage. I've got really thick skin eh..... Xp And since it's only a diploma graduation, we did not have hats to wear, just robes. Since I was from the business school, I got the red ribboned robes. Yes, apart from the certificate, I was also awarded the high achievers awards because I got distinction for my whole diploma (alrite alrite, so I just scored borderline grades to be in the distinction group, but hey, at least I made it to the high achievers list). I was proud of myself, although I knew I could have done better.

After the awards ceremony, it was group photography session, then 'makan' time. Food was okay, but I wasn't interested in eating, I was more interested in chatting with my beloved 'sirs'. All the handsome bachelors from my college are there suprisingly, and I was really happy to see them (^o^) Afterwards, I took a few more photographs with the robe on (wish I had taken more nicer pix with the robes on, I took TOO LITTLE PIX sia...)

All in all, I had a great time although I was late. But I was disappointed that my friends did not graduate with me, so I was pretty lonely when I was at the graduation. Luckily my 'sirs' were there for me. Love you guys~
