BBQ farewell party

It was Wednesday evening. A few of us, ex-Beekayrianz had decided to have a last farewell before all of them leave for Uni's in various directions. I was expecting a big crowd, maybe about 20+, but there were only 13 of us (>.<) And who was the odd one out, ME!!! Why??? Coz among all of them, I was the only one who didn't end up in F6, yea...... I did not even notice that fact until someone pointed it out to me.

By the way, organizing a BBQ wasn't that wasy for the girls after all. Even after I called the so-called "organizer" and asked if everything was ready, she said yea, they had everything. So guess what happened when I got to the venue, we had a brand new BBQ pit and skewers, BUT they left out the MOST IMPORTANT thing, the CHARCOAL!!!!!!! I was just on the verge of laughing at them, got food but no charcoal to start the BBQ.

So it ended up me and 2 others went on a charcoal hunt around this new Sentosa area. Drove here and there desperately asking shops whether they got charcoal. Seriously, it took us like 40 minutes, when I was about to give out, then there was a ray of hope. Some shopkeeper noticed us girls looking for something and asked us. YES, they had charcoal......... We are so LUCKY.

Having a BBQ without guys prove to be TOUGH, coz the guys are supposed to start the fire. Luckily we had Ying Hui, she's our saviour. Met with Ai Ling's bf as well, pretty nice guy. Can't believe I can talk so much to a guy I just met. I've got such big mouth, lol..........

Goodbye my BeeKayrianz, I would miss you guys! Thanks for not 'mengabaikan' me coz I'm the odd one out among you guys............ =)

A Friday at Pyramid

Planning an outing with the gang from church ain't easy, expecially when all plannings are made over the phone. lolz........... SERIOUSLY So a bunch of us went to Pyramid on Friday to hang out. Me, Ching Li, Bryan, Hao Shen, Ian, Suet, Wan Ken, Ann, and Chiang Ling, Win Win plus Nicholas were there to spend time together (obviously) To all those that I did not call, sorry yea, it;s either you're at school are etc.

The main thing we were there for is bowling. yea...... it's been ages since I bowled, and I do miss bowling. So we split up into 2 groups and show off our bowlign skills. Suet said she don't know how to bowl, and YET she scored HIGHER than me in the 1st game........... (got prawn behind the stone eh??? (o.O)" -translate it into Malay and you will understand-

Basically we had a great time together, me especially since I went on a shopping spree later which I DID NOT INTEND to do, but yet, I succumb to the TEMPTATIONS of cheap clothes from MNG. Oh no, please do not have any other sales at the moment.......!!!!!!

Me at 20!

19th June came and went once again, repeating it's annual cycle, making me feel that I AM indeed getting older year by year. To tell you the truth, I am not anticipating being 20, for me being 20 is like entering a new phase of life where you've gotta grow up and take charge of your life, be responsible and face the consequences of your actions by yourself. Or perhaps I should put it this way, I'm entering adulthood in a year more..... NOOOOO....... (>.<) OKAY, I admit, I'm being pretty silly and dumb here.

Anyways, for those of you who think I had a great birthday on my brithday itself, NAH, I had classes, then at night instead of going out with friends I chose to stay at home to watch C.S.I instead. Yea, I'm addicted to that show. It's an awesome show people~ Lolz, I even kena tease by people like Soo and Uncle Yeow Kong for choosing to spend the night with my TV instead of being out and having fun.

But anyways, the next day was better. I had a date with my girlfriends in Redbox, so yea, we had a reunion cum birthday celebration in Redbox. However, yea, I was disappointed that many couldn't make it, but nevertheless I'm glad I get to at least celebrate with these few people who I treasured. We had a great 3 hours of bonding, talking, singing and best of all enjoyinh ourselves. They bought me a Tiramisu cake, which was really nice (^_^) and got me a really nice present as well. Thanks Ai Ling, Yi Ling, Siew Leng, Ting Ting, Sim Liang and Yuit Wen. 1 hour after the karaoke sessions, we went and watch Cars the movie. It was indeed a nice movie, especially since I'm not really a fan of animation movie.

Wednesday, Reuben brought me to 1 Utama to treat me lunch after school. Reuben, lunch was GREAT~ Thanks for bringing me out and spending some time with me. I made a new discovery on this 1 U trip with Reuben, I finally found out where the climbing gym is. haha Xp It has been ages since we did stuff together. Dinner was not bad either, sumptous Chinese food for both of us. I'm amazed at myself for being able to eat that much as well.....lolz

Thursday came, and it was the day for me to treat my friends for lunch at Denny and Partners. Well, lunch was great, never knew the food there is really that nice, ate until I felt so BLOATED (o.O)" Seriously, for me it was like eating 2 meals at one go!!!!!! We had a fun time catching up, as well as posing for pix....... Oh, the birthday cake was really NICE, obviously because it was Sook Kuan's favourite cake..... So we even tease her that she feels that she was celebrating her birthday instead of me.

All in all, I had a wonderful birthday. Have to thank those who sent me birthday cards, Zi Lin, Yen Ling and Irene mei mei =) I feel really happy receiving those cards ^^ And to all those who message me to wish me, I love you guys =3

World Cup fever

The world cup fever has not really catch up on me like it did to the rest!!! That's because I choose to support only specific teams. Yeapz, Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, England tops my list. Lolz, I'm rooting for Asia to enter into top 3 if possible. I'd really hope the Asian teams prove to the world that they're not that bad.

Went out for lunch with Ching Li and Jodie today. We had to discuss certain issues. Big issues that we've overlooked for so many years. And what did I learned? I learned that Hao Shen is leaving for Perth in July. SO SOON~ And he has not even announce to the church yet. I do feel sad, one thing for sure, we're going to lose a great song leader. Someone whose voice is loud enough to inspire people to sing from the heart. And I mean it. Not anyone can lead singing like Hao Shen. I'm glad he chose to go to Perth. Thanks to Yvonne for influencing his decision I guess. Or perhaps I should thank those who made it to YDP for affecting his choice of University as well. Now Central North is bound to have a great song leader, so do take care of him for us eh =)

To Nicholas, Happy 20th Birthday on June 14th. You're one great guy for sure, somebody so strong that I salute your patience and strength in challenging times =)

To Jefri, I hope your knee operation went on well. Jefri BOLEH~ Hoep you'll recover a.s.a.p to play football again Xp Be strong!!!

To Hao Shen, it's my fault that I don't spend much time with you in church. But I hope you'll have a great time studying in Murdoch University. Central North has some great youth there, and I'm sure you'll enjoy their company. JIA YOU!!!! You'll be fine ;)

To Zi Lin, you're doing great so far. Keep up the good work and follow in your dad's footstep.

how can I not like him? He's hilarious from the first day I met him, got a great sense of humor, but at times he can be pretty shy. He's so tanned that he can pass off as a Malay for sure. One guy definitely to look out for. He even attracts his own kind (o.0)

Ah Soo is like my BEST FRIEND!!!! She is my other anchor as well. I love her to bits. She's very into Perth and Australia as she lived there for a year. Very friendly and well-loved by everyone. First week of classes

So yea, the college life I have been anticipating for has finally made a comeback. And boy was it way below my expectation. Classes are really small, barely 10 (which is good also so we get more attention from lecturers). I feel lucky I'm part of my gang, which made up 70% of the class. Yeapz, seriously, the 6 of us made up 70% of the class, so you see, there's really not many students left in our batch. Reason is, most of them have graduated, and here am I, still struggling to finish my diploma in college to move on towards Uni.

Out of the 3 subjects this term, 2 of them were taught by new lecturers. Man, I do have prejudice over these so-called new lecturers, as year 3 subjects shouldn't be handed over to any lecturer to teach, hey, WE NEED TO GRADUATE THIS TERM, YOU KNOW~ Today my group went and met up with the academic head to request them to change lecturer for a particular subject, I really keep my fingers cross and hope that the management oblige to our request! Or else................. my future is at stake here. By the way, a shoutout to Mr Chris Chen, I miss your classes, hadn't share a good laugh with you for ages (>.<)

Haven't been feeling really well these days. It all happened since I came back from the Loreal colour trophy event. First sore throat, then running nose, then cough; I ain't sure what's next. Grrr, hate feeling sick, seems like my body's antibody ain't doing their job too well.

The Loreal Colour Trophy event was great, am grateful to Li Hong jie for giving me a chance to participate in such event. As it was held in Mandarin Oriental hotel, it was a 5 star affair, although I would not really say it was as glamorous as it was supposed to be. People did not adhere to the formal dress code and came wearing what they like, and I called it the hair dressers taste. We had a Bruce Lee wannabe seated with us at our table. He was wearing some sort of cheongsam shirt with some weird looking accesories as well as odd looking pants. Yea, he really looked like some Bruce Lee wannabe (-__-)" Then we had people dressing up like characters from 'Brokeback Mountains' as well, cowboys I meant. *lol* Of course there was a handful of beauties and leng chais as well.

I couldn't take my eyes of model M02. He was one of the hottest model in the event and so so SWEET~ He kept smiling while doing the catwalk. So you reckon? He melted everyone's heart and emerged a winner for a particular category. All thanks to Yen Lim from Wenawave salon who picked this hottie model (^o^) The hair show was good as well, the hairstyles ain't my taste but yea, they are indeed artistic to the eyes of hair stylists. All in all, it was a great event, as the whole salon get together and enjoyed the night. Had a fair share of laughters as well with the antiques of some of my collegaues. Ooo, we even get to take a photo with Amber Chia, and she is HOT!!! Love you Amber~
